Support in the hospital

Parent to Parent has a Family Worker who visits the Neonatal and Paediatric wards in Ninewells Hospital Dundee several times each week. She offers emotional support both in hospital and, if appropriate, at home once the baby or child has been discharged. She will support parents at clinics and hospital reviews and can link families to other parents who have experienced similar situations. She also provides long term support to parents and siblings of a child with a life threatening or terminal condition.

Bereavement support

We also offer bereavement support following the death of a child. This support can be offered to parents or siblings of the child.
